The creek that isn’t talking has been in silence for
days. The water has not been flowing for a while now. My guess is that they
turned off the water supply that’s way up the creek about a mile. I know that
it’s a mile because I walked up the creek and marked the distance with my
phone. The hike up the creek reminded me off this one time I went hiking with
my grandma and dad at the sierra buttes. The path we went on was 6 miles (3
miles both ways). The hike took about 4-5 hours (I’m not sure on how long), I
just know that it took us a while because of my grandma(Sierra Buttes). When we got back to
the bottom of the mountain I felt good about myself because I felt that I have
accomplished something good just don’t know what it was.

Going back to the creek that isn’t speaking, I don’t
know why someone would want to turn the water off. It is giving are lake fresh
water and filling it up (has low has it is). I think people just need to start looking at the great parts of the wilderness and nature and see how great it is because shutting off the water is destroying the creek and our lake. I get shutting it off during the winter but not during the summer its horrible.
